High Meadow's Annual Fund: Contribute to Make a Difference
Your involvement makes a difference, whether for your child or for your community
Support Financial Assistance, Programming, Teachers, and Facilities through Gifts to our Unrestricted Fund
High Meadow's Annual Fund supports our school’s mission now and in the future.
Charitable giving to High Meadow is a key lever in our school's yearly operating budget. Donations to our annual fund keep costs as affordable as possible for families and allow us to grow our programming and impact beyond what tuition monies can provide.
High Meadow seeks to raise $275,000 in the 2025-2026 school year to support our children, our families, our staff, and the greater community.
Contributing to High Meadow's Annual Fund ensures that our school and our mission will thrive no matter how challenging the world around us may seem.
High Meadow's Annual Fund is unrestricted, providing the greatest flexibility for our school to allocate resources to its most pressing needs. Currently, our most immediate funding priorities include the following:
Priority 1: Make High Meadow more financially accessible by building the Hope for the Future Scholarship Fund.
Started in 2020-21, the Hope for the Future BIPOC Student scholarship fund has provided support to families, funding three $5,000 student grants through 2027-28. Our goal is to identify families and donors passionate about making progressive education accessible to the broadest range of students, regardless of their financial circumstances. With that support, we can triple the giving capacity of the Hope for the Future Fund over the next few years and provide three scholarships in each middle school grade, a $45,000 annual investment in equity and economic diversity for our community.
Priority 2: Invest in our faculty through professional development for our teachers.
Today, we invest about $15,000 a year in professional development for our entire faculty and staff. Our goal is to triple that, to $50,000 a year, allowing us to support our teachers through lifting the personal burden of funding ongoing education so they can do their best work with our children.
Priority 3: Invest in campus improvements to benefit our students and the greater community.
Our Annual Fund is a primary driver for campus facilities improvements. Over the next few years, we'd like to upgrade the lighting and sound in our Performing Arts Center to increase community use, invest in renewable energy projects to reduce our footprint and costs, and enhance campus safety systems.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss your contribution, please email our finance team members, Bonita Chase and Michael Drillinger, at bonitac@highmeadowschool.org and michael.drillinger@highmeadowschool.org. We sincerely appreciate your consideration.
Sincerely,
